Description and Intended Use
Peak Powder™ is an advanced wound care device composed of 100% bovine Type I collagen. This sterile, single-use powder is intended for application in partial and full-thickness wounds. In the presence of wound exudate the surgical collagen powder is transformed into a soft moist wound environment.
Indications For Use
Peak Powder™ Bovine Type I Collagen is indicated for use in the management of partial and fullthickness wounds including:
- Pressure ulcers (Stage I-IV)
- Venous ulcers
- Ulcers caused by mixed vascular etiologies
- Diabetic ulcers
- First and second- degree burns
- Surgical wounds
- Cuts and abrasions
