Description and Intended Use

Amnio-Maxx® is a family of amnion patch allografts intended for use as a protective barrier from the surrounding environment for acute and chronic wounds. Examples include diabetic ulcers, venous ulcers, surgical wounds (post-Mohs surgery, post-laser surgery, podiatric wounds, wound dehiscence), chronic vascular ulcers, pressure and non-pressure ulcers, tunneled/undermined wounds, trauma wounds (partial thickness burns, abrasions, skin tears, lacerations), and draining wounds. Amnio-Maxx Dual Layer Amnion Patch may be applied from the onset of the wound and for the duration of the wound, weekly or at the discretion of the health care practitioner.
